Civil Graduate Engineer - Water Resources – Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Public Infrastructure team. This position is open to all recent graduates and December 2025 and May 2026 graduates. Westwood is rated as a 2024 Best Firm to Work For!

Expected start date : January 2026 or May / June 2026.

Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. A Civil Graduate Engineer is expected to work on a team providing support to licensed Civil Engineers while learning the company\'s standard practices and local agency codes. The Civil Graduate Engineer will participate in public infrastructure projects, performing technical calculations, plan and specification production, and assisting in project management tasks. To pursue a Professional Engineering license, the applicant should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of collaboratively solving complex issues on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist project team in design of public infrastructure work
• Assist project team in preparation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations
• Prepare various exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and MicroStation
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analyses, and issues
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to develop calculations in Excel, reports and letters in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint
• Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D and / or MicroStation including grading plans; plan and profiles; construction details; etc.
