Job Title : Electro Mechanical Manager
Location : Lockport, IL
Schedule : Full-Time, On-Site, 1st Shift
Pay Rate : $100,000-$110,000
Role Overview
We are seeking an Electro Mechanical Manager to oversee facility operations, manufacturing equipment, machine processes, and related tooling. This role will coordinate repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and installation of plant machinery while driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to maintenance staff, assist with scheduling projects, and collaborate with site leadership to optimize equipment uptime, safety, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety rules and OSHA standards while using company resources.
- Lead and coordinate Technician Supervisor and maintenance staff work assignments, downtime reporting, and documentation.
- Assist in improving facility safety procedures and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tooling, and support equipment to ensure continuous operations.
- Evaluate maintenance work orders and assign resources based on technical expertise and availability.
- Collaborate with senior technical management to resolve maintenance issues and recommend improvements.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Inspect machines and equipment for operational compliance.
- Research alternative suppliers and methods to perform maintenance work balancing cost and quality.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and recommend solutions to site leadership.
- Participate in capital expenditure planning, recommending future equipment and tooling investments.
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for maintenance projects.
- Train staff on best practices for machine changeovers, setups, and equipment operation.
- Manage standard facility duties including landscaping, janitorial, carpentry, painting, HVAC, roofing, and security using internal and external resources.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare management reports.
- Travel to other company locations as needed for training or project support.
- Work occasional weekends or evenings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned; ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
Technical or vocational degree / certificate with 8 + years of related manufacturing experience , or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems .Knowledge of OSHA 70E and NFPA standards.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical machinery and PLC-controlled equipment .Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, upgrades, and preventative programs.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.About Trova Advisory Group
