Note : This position has been designated as safety sensitive. It is a position that includes tasks and duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee or others. The position requires the employee's full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute all job responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain project files in accordance with Ludvik Electric policies and project specific requirements
- Prepares submittals, shop drawings, layout drawings, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and other various documentation as required by project needs
- Prepares Purchase Orders and Subcontracts
- Distributes and maintains current drawings, specifications and product data
- Provides leadership, sets example and sets standards
- Responds promptly to needs of fellow team members
- Promptly resolves issues with clients
- Provides value and technical input to the project team to help satisfy the client's needs
- Create and maintain required project logs, i.e. Submittal, Purchase Orders, RFI, LECR, Material, etc.
- Responsible for : Assistance in control estimate
- Set up and maintenance of files according to Policies and Procedures
- Management of daily affairs to stay on budget and on schedule
- Correct timecard reporting and cost reporting
- Material management at jobsite
- Assistance in prompt pricing and settling of change orders
- Adherence to and enforcement of all Ludvik Policies and Procedures
- Setting priorities to achieve goals
- Personal project log
- Solicitation of additional electrical scope to existing contracts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Less than 2 years as project coordinator in electrical construction or equivalentHands on experience through classes, volunteer or warehouseMinimum 4 credit hours continuing education per yearProjects professional and positive attitudeDemonstrated Ability to prepare O&M's and submittalsDemonstrated ability to draft PO's, Subcontracts and Change Orders with minimal errorsUnderstands and adheres to company policies and proceduresAttendance to supervisor training sessionsAble to set up and maintain job filesDemonstrated ability to progress update P6 schedules, window logs and change ordersDemonstrated ability to use Word, Excel and P6Demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend technical blueprints, one lines and specificationsPreferred Skills
Novice knowledge of NEC, NFPA 72, NFPA 70E, IBC and IFCPrior experience in the construction industryDayforce Experience
