Commercial Lending Associate Attorney

Description

Our client is a Full-service law firm and they're seeking a highly motivated and skilled associate attorney admitted in New York with 1 to 3 years of commercial lending experience. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Represent institutional lenders in financing commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties from inception to closing.
• Draft commercial loan documents with experience in mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.
• Perform review of organizational documents for borrowing entities.
• Review commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements, and ancillary loan documents.
• Oversee real estate secured finance transactions, workouts, and restructurings.
• Review title reports, surveys, and oversee title clearance.
• Handle lending and debt finance related to property acquisition, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.
