We are seeking a Sales & Banquet Manager to oversee hotel room and event sales while ensuring smooth on-site coordination with the operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and managing event execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive hotel room and event bookings, meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with group, corporate, and catering clients to increase repeat business and market share.
- Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, and hotel tours to generate new leads and close business opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of meetings, banquets, and events.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for events, ensuring client satisfaction from setup through completion.
- Research and analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for new business.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and community functions to promote the property.
- Assist with creating annual department budgets and aligning sales and operational goals.
Qualifications
3+ years of hotel sales, catering, or event management experience, with proven revenue success.Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage both sales and operational aspects of events.Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced hospitality environment.High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
