Senior Manager, Benefits and Wellbeing
The Senior Manager, Benefits and Wellbeing, is on Walmart's Total Rewards team. This team is responsible for the administration and compliance of the employee welfare plan. The team administers benefits for 2.3 million associates and continuously strives for consumer-grade experience for associates while maintaining compliance and driving Every Day Low Cost. This role will be responsible for compliance functions within the Walmart AHWP (Associates' Health and Welfare Plan), including but not limited to Mental Health Parity regulations. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in employee benefits administration, particularly with ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act), CAA (Consolidated Appropriations Act), and ACA (Affordable Care Act) compliance processes. The successful candidate will be working closely with internal and external legal partners to ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with federal regulations and company policies, while also driving efficiency and enhancing the overall benefits administration process.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field and 2 years' experience in benefits management, benefits administration, healthcare regulatory compliance, or relevant area OR 4 years' experience in benefits management, benefits administration, healthcare regulatory compliance, or relevant area.
Preferred Qualifications : Benefits, Managing Health and Wellness Operations, Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates Human Resources - Professional HR (PHR) CERTIFICATION - Certification
