As a funeral director, your primary focus is on serving families during their difficult times. However, there may be occasions when you’re needed to cover duties at the care center.

Responsibilities

• Provide a source of support, guidance, and direction to families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one
• Coordinate, assist, and carry out all aspects of a funeral service and final memorialization
• Adhere to all professional, municipal, state, and federal licensing regulations and rules applicable to the funeral service profession
• Ensure that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed
