Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Estimator for our Design & Build (D&B) division who will also play a key role in estimating and proposal development. This dual-role position is ideal for someone with strong technical acumen, sales drive, and a keen eye for detail in costing and project estimation. You will be responsible for supporting and growing direct and industrial sales opportunities, driving product awareness, leading customer engagement efforts, and managing the proposal / quoting process from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities :

Estimating & Proposal Management :

  • Review customer RFQs, blueprints, and specifications to determine scope, materials, and labor needs.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel and integrated equipment systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to clarify scope and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor / subcontractor quotes for material and service pricing.
  • Lead proposal development, including drafting and presenting professional quote packages to customers.
  • Maintain and track bid results; collect and log feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • 3–5 years of experience in material handling, construction, or industrial automation (Design & Build preferred).
  • Strong understanding of estimating, quoting, and proposal development processes.
  • Proven success in a customer-facing product management or sales role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related technical drawing platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM and estimating software tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field – or equivalent experience.
