As a Medical Assistant (MA) in a women’s health-focused primary care clinic, you play a key role in supporting licensed healthcare providers by delivering both clinical and administrative assistance. This includes facilitating patient flow, assisting with exams and procedures, maintaining a well-organized clinic environment, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through direct patient interaction.

Overview of Responsibilities :

• Roomed patients and recorded vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit; ensured accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Prepared patients for exams and procedures, assisted providers during visits, and ensured patient comfort and privacy throughout care
• Administered medications within MA-C scope in Washington State, collected lab specimens (including phlebotomy), and assisted with minor procedures
• Educated patients on care instructions and health topics under provider guidance; responded to patient phone calls and relayed information appropriately
• Maintained clean, organized exam rooms and monitored inventory of medical supplies, placing orders as needed
• Supported administrative tasks including scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and preparing medical records and reports
• Assisted with gynecological exams and women's health procedures such as pap smears, IUD insertions / removals, and biopsies
• Provided education on women’s health, contraception, and prenatal care while maintaining a sensitive and supportive environment

Monday - Friday (Thursday’s off), 4 10’s 6 : 45 AM - 5 : 15 PM

Contract Length :

700 hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.

Pay :

MA : $22 - $29 (Dependant on experience)
