Description :

This role is perfect for an individual eager to lead the charge in optimizing financial systems within a global ERP landscape. Pay : $80 - $85 / hr W2

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units, technical teams, and application administrators to perform gap analysis, gather business requirements, oversee technical development, and apply patches while ensuring the successful delivery of finance-focused projects.
  • Maintain a focus on stability by refining and adhering to organizational processes, including software development life-cycle (SDLC) and change management protocols.
  • Engage cross-functionally with the global IT Finance team and Supply Chain teams to enhance processes and project delivery.
  • Implement technical functions such as system configuration, data extraction / loading, and report generation.
  • Act as a representative for IT Finance, ensuring the smooth implementation of financial projects.
  • Contribute to the estimation and sizing of project efforts.
  • Support the training and education of finance users on IT Finance applications.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance applications and 6+ years of overall IT / industry experience.
  • Proven techno-functional expertise in multiple Oracle EBS (R12) finance modules, including Accounts Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement, AGIS, Accounts Receivables, iExpense, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Project Accounting, and OPM Costing.
  • Proficient in Oracle PL / SQL.
  • Experience with integration using APIs and XML templates.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Supply Chain and Process Manufacturing modules is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes in Oracle EBS finance.
  • Able to engage with users at all levels to extract requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Capacity to analyze business processes and translate them into actionable requirements and design documents, closing business process gaps with standard software functionality.
  • Strong understanding of information systems and how to measure success.
  • Proven commitment to customer service, system reliability, and problem resolution, including willingness to provide off-hours support as necessary.
  • Skilled in analytical and creative problem-solving.
  • Experience with data analytics tools, such as Tableau, is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle is desirable.
  • Experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance is a significant advantage.
  • Education Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with skills, experience, and other compensable factors. The listed pay reflects a W2 hourly rate, with additional employment options potentially influencing the rate.
