6+ Month Contract
Responsibilities :
Prepare detailed design drawings for electrical equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with standards.
Select materials and create material lists based on project requirements.
Participate in design conferences and field trips to determine project needs.
Collaborate with engineers and operational teams to define project scopes.
Report design status to project engineer and manager.
Perform electrical calculations and ensure designs meet specifications and safety regulations.
Assist engineers in resolving design issues and developing solutions.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements :
Associate s degree in engineering, technical field, or equivalent experience.
3-4 years of experience in gas pipeline engineering, operations, or construction.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel; experience with Adobe / BlueBeam preferred.
Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and procedures (DOT, FERC, OSHA, NNG, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with changing priorities and deadlines, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and make periodic field trips as required.
