Automation Engineer
Job Summary :
Blue Ridge Automation Inc. is currently seeking Automation Engineers / PLC Programmers. Qualified candidates will have hands-on systems integration experience, specifically PLC and HMI programming and configuration, field work, troubleshooting, as well as start-up and commissioning experience.
Experience in the food and beverage industry may benefit applicants.
Direct hire positions are currently available in Phoenix. Positions are on-site at customer location for project and start-up work.
Key Responsibilities :
- Understand and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), batching systems, and other supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software
- Provide field troubleshooting, start-up and commissioning support
- Perform complex problem-solving tasks that involve reviewing information, actively detecting problems, developing, and evaluating options, selecting, and implementing the best solutions
- Manage workloads and meet project benchmarks communicating progress both internally and externally.
