Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 (Alabama nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 22 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours per week available) Setting : Renal / Med Surg Telemetry Unit (36 beds) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $1720-$1840 Parking : On-site parking available Dress Code : Solid navy scrubs Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or Compact State (no temporary licenses accepted) Associate degree in Nursing required Current American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross BLS certification Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; will consider candidates with at least 18 months of experience, including 1 year in Med / Surg Telemetry Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed Med / Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with kidney-related conditions, including renal replacement therapy Manage a 1 : 6 nurse-to-patient ratio, specializing in post-hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care Collaborate with nephrologists, family practice providers, and hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care Support patients throughout their journey from diagnosis to treatment and recovery Float to other units or hospitals as required to meet patient care needs Comply with facility policies, procedures, and dress code Apply now to join our healthcare team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
