Traveling Project Engineer - Federal Projects

A respected and growing General Contractor specializing in federal and military projects is seeking a Traveling Project Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career with a company known for its integrity, consistency, and excellence across the U.S.

What You’ll Do :

Support Project Managers and Superintendents in daily coordination of federal projects.

Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedule tracking.

Work closely with the Quality Control and Safety teams to ensure full compliance with USACE / NAVFAC standards.

Review drawings, specs, and contract documents to verify accuracy and consistency.

Communicate regularly with field teams, subcontractors, and government representatives.

What We’re Looking For :

2+ years of experience in construction project engineering, preferably on federal or military projects.

Knowledge of USACE / NAVFAC processes and the three-phase inspection system is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.

Willingness to travel full-time to project sites nationwide.
