Responsibilities Work in a busy Operating Room department with 41 ORs at a Level 1 Trauma Center Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 6 : 45 to 19 : 15, covering all days of the week Required to float to other ORs within the facility as needed Weekend and on-call shifts required per unit needs, approximately 6 on-call shifts per 8-week period Patient care is 1 : 1 during operative procedures Cases include General, GU / GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgeries Epic EMR system experience required No blocked scheduling requests will be accepted Up to 10 approved days off (RTO) per contract; RTO is not allowed during specified blackout dates Modules are completed as part of orientation and are included in onboarding Dress code and scrub requirements will be communicated upon assignment Local candidates within 75 miles offered a different bill rate Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum of 3 years of recent OR nursing experience required Previous Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required Epic EMR experience required First-time travelers will not be considered Candidates must not have been employed by the health system or its affiliates in any capacity within the last two years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629997.
