Project Engineer

Located in Jupiter, Florida, our client's company is a trusted leader in delivering high-quality construction services throughout the region. With a strong foundation built on integrity, craftsmanship, and reliability, they specialize in managing and executing a wide range of residential and commercial projectsfrom custom homes and renovations to large-scale developments and tenant improvements.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Support document control and maintain accurate project records (drawings, specifications, logs, reports)
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Assist with project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
  • Collaborate with field teams to address construction challenges and maintain productivity
  • Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Qualifications include :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in the construction industry (internships, fieldwork, estimating, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, P6, or similar) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to work on active job sites and travel locally as needed
