Education

• A graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in a health science (includes but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic / EMT). 18 months experience in licensed field unless candidate is a graduate of a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program

Position Summary

The EP technologist has the knowledge skills and training to assist the physician in all Electrophysiology procedures, invasive and non-invasive, including, but not limited to EP Studies, Mapping, Ablations, Pacemakers, ICD's, lead and pocket replacement / revisions, and loop insertions. Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push / pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
