Sr. Engineer - Electrification
Location : Hybrid-3 days a week at the office.
We are seeking a Sr. Engineer - Electrification to design, integrate, and support high-voltage electrical systems in heavy-duty vehicles. This role focuses on vehicle-level integration -not component development-and offers the opportunity to work across multiple vehicle platforms and defense applications, from improving fuel economy to integrating advanced payloads and weapon systems.
About the Role :
The Sr. Engineer - Electrification will design functional, reliable, and cost-effective high-voltage systems for heavy-duty vehicles. This includes integrating high-voltage components, electro-hydraulic pumps, and other electrification technologies into both existing and new vehicle platforms. The role also provides engineering analysis, redesign, and execution support for vehicle control and embedded systems development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design tasks for vehicle electrification projects
- Integrate high-voltage electrical components and subsystems into vehicles for defense and heavy-duty applications
- Support prototype, pilot, and production builds; resolve technical issues in manufacturing
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable system performance
- Prepare technical documentation, system designs, and reports in accordance with industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers, designers, and technicians on electrification projects
- Manage multiple projects or sub-projects of limited complexity
- Provide technical input on system upgrades, redesigns, and new vehicle integrations
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in electrical or vehicle systems engineeringPreferred Qualifications :
