Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Physician to prepare, calibrate, log, and administer radioactive isotopes to patients for various procedures. You'll operate Gamma Camera Imaging equipment and other devices to obtain accurate visual representations of isotope concentrations in specific body areas. Your patient care will encompass a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics, demonstrating a keen understanding of individual developmental needs.

What qualifications you will need :

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
  • Florida State License in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N).
  • HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care facility, accredited by the Joint Commission, serving as a Level II Trauma Center.
