Position Overview
Join our client, Versiti, a national leader in blood health dedicated to improving patient outcomes through precision medicine and transfusion science. As a Medical Lab Tech, you'll perform critical immunohematology testing and ensure the safe and accurate provision of blood products for transfusion. This role is working onsite within a nationally ranked hospital and is essential to supporting healthcare providers with life-saving diagnostics.

Job Type : Direct Hire
Shifts Available : 2nd, 3rd
Training : 90-day training period on 1st shift (day shift)
Pay : $29.25 - 46.00 / hour (depending on credentials and experience)
Schedule / Shift Requirements
2nd Shift : 2 : 30 PM-11 : 00 PM | 5 days / week (Sun-Sat)
3rd Shift : 8 : 30-9 : 00 PM start | 10-hour shift | 4 days / week with rotating 8-day stretch every third week (4 days on, 4 days off, 8 days on, 4 days off)
Must be available to train on 1st shift (day) for the first 90 days
Weekend and holiday availability required
On-call and overtime coverage may be necessary
What We're Looking For :
Current, up-to-date resume.
Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, MT, BB).
Associate degree in laboratory science or MLT with ASCP certification and 5+ years of transfusion service experience.
Clinical experience in transfusion services (through education or prior employment).
Strong knowledge of immunohematology.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and lab technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform serologic testing and interpret results.
Prepare and issue blood components for transfusion.
Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, AABB, CLIA, OSHA, CAP).
Operate and maintain lab equipment and reagents.
Provide consultation and support to healthcare providers.
Participate in quality improvement and training initiatives
