Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy, addressing the unique needs of each client to promote healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journey.
  • Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care through collaboration.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists, to provide holistic mental health care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license as required by state regulations.
  • Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
  • Passionate about mental health and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management skills to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
