Board Status : Board Certified, Board Eligible

Required Procedures : Arterial and Central Lines

Preferred Procedures : Vent Management

Required Certifications : PA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License

Minimum Years Experience (if applicable) : 2 years of Critical Care or Pulmonary / Critical Care Experience as APP

Job Information

Typical day : 7p-7a in house with a back up call provider and telemedicine available to the APP.

Support Staff : 2 APPs and 1 Resident (Includes the Locum) Resident Manages 12 - 15 of the Patients

Support Staff : 1 APP / 1 Resident

AVG Med Surg Census : 22

AVG CTICU Census : 19

AVG Census : 18

Procedures : Resp Failure, Sepsis, COVID and / or Med-Surg ECMO Managed by ECMO Team

RT and Anesthesia are Responsible for Intubation

ICU Census : 30 Patients Currently 25 - 28 Patients

EMR : Epic
