SAFETY MANAGER

Safety Manager

The EHS Manager leads safety initiatives at the site level. This role drives a learning mentality, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports continuous improvement. The manager assists building a strong safety culture, standardize safety practices, and serve as a strategic partner to leadership.

Responsibilities :

• Safety Leadership : Develop and improve safety programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with sector / company. Standardize protocols across facilities, if applicable. Conduct risk assessments and audits.
• Team Management : Recruit, train, and lead regional safety staff. Set performance metrics and drive accountability. Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture.
• Compliance & Incident Response : Ensure adherence to OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA and other regulations. Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions and implement preventive measures. Report safety data to leadership.
• Training & Engagement : Support site-specific safety training. Promote proactive hazard identification and safe behaviors. Lead safety committees and improvement initiatives.
• Emergency Preparedness : Develop site-specific emergency plans. Support and participate in site specific drills and crisis training.
