Position Summary :
We are seeking an Office & Field Engineer to support both the office-based project team and the onsite field operations on vertical construction projects in the Greater Denver Metro Area. The ideal candidate will provide technical onsite project support, coordinate documentation, assist with cost tracking and submittals, perform QA / QC field inspections, assist with scheduling, logistics, material procurement, inspections, and support the Superintendent and Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget, with other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with preparation, review and maintenance of project documentation including submittals, RFI logs, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, meeting minutes and field reports.
- Coordinate with the field team (Superintendent, Assistants, subcontractors) to implement engineering design requirements, QA / QC inspections, and ensure compliance to drawings and specifications.
- Support cost tracking and budget monitoring : assist in collecting field cost data, coordinating with PMs and Superintendents on variances or change orders.
- Assist in schedule monitoring, update look-aheads, perform progress tracking, and field verification of work completed.
- Conduct field walk-throughs, assist in inspections, document punch-lists and non-conforming items, support quality audits and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with design consultants, inspectors, vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and support efficient field execution.
- Support project close-out : assist in turnover documentation, coordinate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and ensure completeness of deliverables.
- Maintain project data in BuilderTrend, our CM software and assist in reporting to project leadership, and support continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering or related field, or equivalent field experience to demonstrate Management Abilities.1-2 years of experience in construction project engineering, field engineering or equivalent in vertical construction or related environment.Familiarity with construction submittals, RFIs, as-builts, field inspections, QA / QC practices, scheduling and cost tracking.Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills; ability to function in both office and field environments.Proficiency with construction management software (BuilderTrend / Procore / similar) and MS Office suite.Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to project sites as requiredEagerness to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility over time.Compensation & Benefits :
