Job Title
Echo Technologist II (Travel)
Location
Michigan City, IN | Inpatient / Outpatient
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Rotating weekends and call required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiography studies including inpatient, outpatient, and intra-procedural cases, with an expected volume of 7+ cases per day
- Operate Philips EpiQ ultrasound equipment to acquire and document diagnostic cardiac images
- Float between inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings as needed
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage - two weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) on a 6-week schedule, plus one night per week
- Fulfill call requirements of approximately 7-8 shifts per month on a rotating 6-week schedule
- Document and manage patient data using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active CCI or ARDMS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist
- Proficiency with pediatric echocardiography and stress echo studies
- Ability to work a 5×8 schedule with rotating weekends and on-call shifts
- Experience with EPIC EMR or willingness to complete required EPIC orientation modules prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Watchman procedure support
- Proficiency in 3D echocardiography
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced cardiac services environment
