LHH Recruitment Solutions has an Accounting Assistant role open with our client in Altamonte Springs, FL. This is a contract to hire, onsite position.
Responsibilities
Assist with various AP functions including reviewing, approving and processing invoices (including matching), check runs, and reviewing / processing expenses
Process various payment journals for wire and ACH invoices and refunds
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and questions
Scan payments and invoices into accounting software
Experience
Minimum of two years of accounting experience required
Skills / Knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Outlook required
Proficiency using accounting software required
High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Solid communication, customer service, organizational and mathematical skills
Education
Associate degree in Accounting required (or 5 years of accounting experience in lieu of degree)
Work Hours / Pay Rate
Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week
