Assistant Controller with Private EquityExperience

Responsibilities :
- Supervise property / debt investment accounting staff, reviewreconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee monthly closing / consolidation for portfolios.
- Analyze budget-to-actuals, prepare / review financial statements, andinvestor reports.
- Monitor compliance with Fund agreements and investor letters.
- Manage investment / incentive fee calculations, joint venture waterfall,and distributions.
- Oversee audits, third-party relationships, and Performance ReportingAccounting staff.
- Ensure internal controls, perform ad hoc accounting duties.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years in real estate / private equity industry.
- Experience with financial statements and fair value reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication, andinterpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads.
- Bachelor’s in business administration (accounting concentrationpreferred).
- CPA license and public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, adaptability to technology changes.
