An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in Arizona to join a compounding lab in a contract-to-hire capacity. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment, including training in non-sterile compounding—no prior compounding experience is necessary. Upon conversion to permanent status, benefits such as 401(k), PTO, and comprehensive healthcare are provided.
Schedule & Hours • Full-time, 40 hours per week • Set shift for closers: Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM • Shifts may vary based on business needs
Location Position is based in Chandler, AZ.
Key Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient lab operations • Verify prescriptions accurately and manage the compounding process • Maintain compliance with USP standards and Board of Pharmacy regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience • Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing without disciplinary history • Strong foundation in pharmacy practices and operations • Flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs • Willingness to pursue additional state pharmacy licenses as required • Commitment to upholding quality and safety standards within compounding lab settings
