Job description
Forklift Operator
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Forklift Operators for a client in Bartlett, IL. All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17-$19.50/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include:
- 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm M-F
- 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm M-F
- 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am M-F
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments inside the warehouse facility.
- Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of deliveries and shipments.
- Perform picking and packing duties in an efficient and safe manner.
- Label products and move them accordingly within the warehouse.
- Keep all equipment in good condition while operating it safe and effectively.
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts.
Qualifications of the Forklift Operator:
- Comfortable working in cold environment
- Comfortable working with food products
- Previous experience operating stand-up, sit-down, and cherry picker forklifts
- Previous warehouse experience
- High attention to detail and safety/compliance
