Technology Logistics Center (TLC) Supply Chain Operations Supervisor
The Technology Logistics Center (TLC) Supply Chain Operations Supervisor is responsible for organizing and directing the daily activities of the TLC Operation in Smyrna, TN. The main responsibility of a Supply Chain Supervisor is to manage, develop and guide operational employees to ensure their ability to provide outstanding results and execute tasks effectively. Supervisors will also be accountable for ensuring employees are meeting quality / safety standards as they relate to the operational work standards and calculating performance metrics.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Evaluate staffing levels to ensure that safety, quality and production plans are met
- Mentors, coaches, and trains repair technicians with existing and new procedures as they are implemented
- Ensures that all repairs meet or exceed repair standards
- Supervises a team of technicians that inspect, triage and test defective wireless electronics
- Ensures training is complete for new and existing employees to process updates and changes
- Reviews and evaluates teams daily to ensure processes and accountability measures are in place
- Conducts monthly 1x1 discussions / performance reviews with employees to ensure they understand current and future targets
- Collaborates with your team and peers on continuous improvement activities and efforts across the department and ensures that continuous improvement is being conducted
- Exposure / experience with lean concepts (PDCA, Kaizen, Point Kaizen, MDI and Root Cause Analysis)
- Reviews operational work instructions to make sure that your department is compliant
- Leads daily team meetings to provide information about daily targets, process and procedure updates, company news and any additional information that is pertinent for employees to complete their job
- Meets or exceeds inventory accuracy metrics for your department
- Promotes and adheres to Asurion core values daily for self and team
- Promotes and adheres to the employee handbook daily for self and team
- Compiles reports regarding your department's activities to ensure that your daily plan matches what is needed
- Ensures daily targets to internal and external customers are met daily
- Ensures request from Global / Local HR request are completed on time (compliance courses, workday and etc)
- Ensures payroll systems are accurate and updated daily
- Ensures internal departmental databases are updated daily
- Performs other duties / projects as assigned by Asurion Leaders
- Ensures employee handbook and site-specific policies are enforced and accountability held for self and team
- Any other duties assigned by leadership based on business needs / customer risk
Qualifications / Skills / Knowledge :
4-year degree or equivalent leadership experienceExperience with warehouse management systemsWarehouse / manufacturing experienceDemonstrate the ability to understand and apply problem solving techniques in day-to-day activitiesHigh energy level, detail oriented, exhibit a sense of urgency and initiative to perform in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and presentation skillsMust be able to work with a well diverse teamsComputer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (ex.
