Instructional Design Specialist

Location : 5x / week onsite downtown Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Rate : $35-45 / hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves :

• 1–3+ years of content creation and maintenance in high-tech environments (preferably healthcare)
• Experience with platforms like Intercom, Confluence, MadCap Flare, Articulate, Xyleme, or Skilljar
• Ability to translate product updates (user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria) into clear documentation and learning assets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and clarity
• Familiarity with product logic, basic API concepts, and contributing during the SDLC
• Analytical mindset using metrics (e.g., page views, CSAT, bot deflection) to guide improvements

You’ll create and maintain multi-format user content that supports accurate, timely client interactions. This includes translating product changes into clear documentation, collaborating cross-functionally to validate and improve content, refining information architecture, and using analytics to drive self-service success. You’ll contribute to scalable systems and promote a knowledge-first culture while adapting to shifting priorities across projects.
