Structural / Resilience Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure using applicable codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Integrate resilience engineering principles into project designs, focusing on climate adaptation, hazard mitigation, and long-term structural performance.
• Conduct structural modeling, load calculations, and risk assessments for wind, seismic, flood, and other environmental hazards.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, sustainability specialists, and construction teams to ensure structural integrity and resilience are embedded throughout project phases.
• Develop and implement resilience strategies that enhance community and infrastructure adaptability to extreme weather and natural disasters.
• Review existing structures for vulnerability and propose retrofit or strengthening measures.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for design and construction documentation.
• Stay current with emerging resilience frameworks, materials technology, and performance-based design approaches.
• Participate in client meetings, regulatory reviews, and peer consultations to support project delivery and compliance.
