Accessories Installation Technician
Job Summary
Accessories of Des Moines is seeking one Accessory Installation Technician.
Qualified candidates must have their own tools, a good driving record, be able to pass a background check, and be able to install automotive / light truck accessories on all makes efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and care for the vehicle.
Compensation :
Hourly rate of $17 - $30 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and training.

Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Installations include :
- Tonneau covers
- Running boards
- Splash guards
- Tool boxes and ladder racks
- Bug deflectors
- Hitches and wiring (Gooseneck, 5th wheel, and standard receiver hitches)
- Other basic bolt on accessories
- Chassis work.
Level / Lift kits
- Mounting and balancing tires
- Installation of interior and exterior electrical accessories.
Lighting, remote start systems, heated seats, etc.
Fuel transfer tanks
Qualific ations
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
