Budget Analyst (Analyst II)
In this position, you will perform a variety of analyses, studies, and research projects as requested by the Budget Manager, Chief Financial Officer, or executive staff.

This position is subject to budget required furloughs to be implemented in the 2026 calendar year, and any furloughs subsequently approved.
As a Budget Analyst II, you will :
- Track and analyze budget expenditures, operational issues, and financing requirements
- Develop and prepare multi-year financial forecasts
- Forecast and analyze various revenue sources
- Maintain detailed records, prepare professional reports, and develop presentations of composite data
- Assist with the development, coordination, and preparation of the annual budget and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
- Perform comparative analyses of fiscal and operational performance data
- Coordinate project activities with other City departments, divisions, boards, committees, task forces; external organizations; and the public
- Analyze federal, state, and local legislative proposals for impact on assigned operations

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.Three years of full-time, professional experience in a related field.We value a diverse range of qualifications and experiences.
