Description :

Must be proficient in Neuro, Trauma, ENT, Robotics Davinci XI, and Craniotomy experience.

The facility has 12 ORs, 20 Pre-Op bays, and 14 PACU bays.

Travelers must live more than 100 miles away.

Patient types include Surgical (Urology, Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, General, Podiatry, ENT).

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 in the OR, 1 : 2 in Pre-Op, and 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 in PACU Phase I, based on acuity.

In PACU Phase II, the ratio is 1 : 2-3.

Education required is an associate degree in a healthcare-related field or graduation from an accredited surgical tech program, unless nationally certified.

Skills required include 2 years of experience with case types mentioned above.

Davinci XI and Craniotomy experience are required for trauma cases.

Support on the unit includes Surgery RN, First Assist, Surg Tech, Nurse Clinician, and CRN Service Line Lead.

The charting system used is EPIC.

Travelers may be required to float to Central Sterile Processing as needed.

Weekend rotation is required.

Call needs are subject to change based on department needs.

Holiday expectations include working 2 out of 4 major holidays.

Approval of time off must be obtained from the manager.
