Undergraduate Admissions - Student Assistant (Spring 2026)

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking motivated, forward facing, results-oriented applicants for the position of Undergraduate Admissions Student Assistant. As an Admissions Student Assistant, you will be an integral part of our admissions team, welcoming prospective students and their families to Auburn's campus. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in higher education administration and develop professional skills that will benefit you in your future career.

Essential Functions

• Provide Administrative Support : Assist Undergraduate Admissions staff with preparing, compiling, and printing materials for guests and maintaining the lobby & hospitality areas.
• Data Entry : Accurately input and maintain guest / applicant information in the admissions database (Slate).
• Customer Service : Respond to inquiries from prospective students and their families via phone, email, and in-person visits. Provide general information about the admissions process, program offerings, and campus life.
• Communication : Collaborate with the admissions team to answer email queries about campus tours and general admissions information.
• File Management : Organize and maintain physical and electronic files related to admissions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible to work on-campus as a student employee, individuals must meet the following criteria : Enrolled and actively taking classes at Auburn University.

Pay Rate : $10.00 / hour
