Job description

Overview

Director of Sales role at Geronimo Hospitality Group. You will oversee all sales managers and direct core activities including lead management, growing existing accounts, developing new business, maximizing sales systems, and communicating sales activities to all entities. The team seeks individuals who push boundaries and value hard work every day.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of open communication.
  • Develop leadership skills and grow team members to their fullest potential.
  • Accountable for all sales activities, forecasting analysis, lead generation, client follow-up and administrative sales duties for all Indy lodging and food & beverage operations.
  • Generate sales and expand the customer base of all businesses.
  • Set business objectives and implement action plans to achieve targets.
  • Manage and execute sales calls, site tours, and related activities.
  • Collaborate between marketing and sales to align with advertising strategies.
  • Regularly meet with brand property managers to align sales with goals.
  • Identify new and existing target accounts to present company products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and business performance; adjust as necessary.
  • Analyze existing sales approaches and recommend changes as required.
  • Focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Education / Training : Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • You'll Stand Out If You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as a business development manager or similar.
  • Persistence, product knowledge, and strong communication skills.
  • Planning skills to develop and implement action plans for increased product awareness and sales.
  • Analytical skills to conduct research and adapt to market trends.
  • Leadership quality : ability to direct and coordinate operations of a business development unit (if applicable).
  • Mandatory Requirement
