Staff Accountant - Seattle, WA
Glosten is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for accounts payable, corporate credit card reconciliations, employee expense reimbursements, collections of outstanding accounts receivable, and assisting with monthly billing and close activities. The Staff Accountant will also support job activation, client and vendor setup in Deltek Vantagepoint and collaborate closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations.

Key responsibilities include managing the accounts payable process, performing weekly credit card reconciliations, reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursements, monitoring and supporting collections of outstanding accounts receivable balances, activating new billable and overhead jobs in Deltek Vantagepoint, setting up new clients and vendors in Deltek Vantagepoint, assisting the revenue accountant in the monthly billing process, preparing journal entries and reconciliations to support month-end close, and supporting ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, 2-4 years of accounting experience with exposure to accounts payable, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal departments and employees.
Preferred qualifications include experience with ADP and Deltek VantagePoint.
