Job Title : Paint Operator

Key responsibilities :

• Responsible for applying primer and topcoat to parts, curing parts and verifying and recording thickness according to customer's specifications.
• Mask parts to engineering drawings when required.
• Visually check own work prior to submitting to inspection.
• Clean all spray gun equipment and maintain cleanliness of spray booth area. Change filters as needed.
• Rebuild paint gun with replacement parts as part of the regular maintenance schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to customers' requirements and keep cleaning log up to date.
• Responsible for the accurate recording of all paperwork and labor entries associated with the position.
• Monitor inventory for expired materials and report to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
