Our organization is looking to diversify, grow, innovate, and serve, and we are looking for committed, empowered, learning-oriented people to join our team./ppWe are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Planning Analyst to lead critical expense allocation processes, deliver actionable insights, and support key financial initiatives across the organization./ph3Administrative Expense Allocations/h3ulliLead the end-to-end process of allocating administrative expenses across segments and lines of business./liliEnsure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in allocation methodologies./liliPartner with business units to validate allocation drivers and assumptions./liliAnalyze allocated expense results to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization./liliDevelop and deliver insightful reporting packages for senior management, highlighting key drivers and actionable insights./liliSupport forecasting and budgeting processes with detailed expense analytics./liliEffectively communicate expense impacts and changes to FPA leadership./li/ulh3Federal Employee Program (FEP) Expense Management/h3ulliOwn the tracking, analysis, and reporting of all expenses related to the Federal Employee Program line of business./liliCollaborate with operational and compliance teams to ensure expenses align with program guidelines and expectations./liliProvide financial support for strategic initiatives and submissions related to FEP./li/ulh3Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) Quality Improvement (QI) Allocation/h3ulliManage the MLR QI allocation process, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and internal policies./liliCoordinate with actuarial, accounting, and operational teams to validate allocation inputs and outputs./liliMaintain documentation and audit trails for all MLR QI-related financial activities./li/ulh3Audit Support/h3ulliServe as the primary FPA contact for all audit activities, including FEP, CMS, Insurance Department, and all other financial audits./liliPrepare and review audit documentation, respond to auditor inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of audit recommendations./liliMaintain strong internal controls and support continuous improvement in audit readiness./li/ulh3Qualifications - External/h3pstrongRequired:/strong/pulliBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 6+ years of FPA or financial analysis experience./lilistrongAdvanced Excel skills/strong (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling, automation)./liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience with expense allocations and financial reporting./liliProven track record in strongprocess management and improvement/strong./liliExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally./liliExperience supporting financial audits./li/ulpstrongPreferred:/strong/pulliExperience with strongOracle EPM/strong or similar financial planning systems./liliKnowledge of healthcare finance and MLR regulations/li/ulpIndependence has implemented a Hybrid model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday Friday).
