As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the site, and respond to situations as needed. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites. Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education. Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams. Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service. Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and procedures, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for irregularities. Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols. Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, site contacts, and / or emergency responders as situations require. Assist in the enforcement of access control policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or prohibited activities within the location. Remain alert and aware of surroundings, reporting any security-related concerns or hazards encountered during patrols.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts. Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments. A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company. Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements :

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
