The Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) is looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team. The position is responsible for coordinating and conducting background screening on vendor-provided personnel, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and agency policies. This position is located at the DCF Headquarters in Tallahassee in the Office of Information Technology Services.

Conditions of Employment : Minimum requirements of employment include : High school diploma or equivalent; Four (4) years of professional experience in systems analysis; management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, or administrative work; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Duties and Responsibilities : This position effectively reviews and processes fingerprint cards received from vendors and / or contractors adhering to state and agency regulations for performing Level 2 background screenings. Receive and log fingerprint cards, ensuring all materials are properly tracked and acknowledged upon receipt in accordance with departmental procedures. Create and manage screening tickets in the designated tracking system to initiate and monitor the background screening process. Distribute and explain required forms to contractors, providing clear instructions and support to ensure timely and accurate completion. Establish and maintain user accounts in internal systems, verifying identity and access permissions for new contractor staff. Communicate required training information to contractors, including deadlines, course access, and completion expectations to ensure compliance with agency standards. Receive, review, and verify all documentation, including forms and training certificates, for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with policy requirements. Create and maintain secure ShareFile folders for each prospective contractor to facilitate organized recordkeeping and document sharing. Compile and upload finalized screening results, required forms, and certifications into ShareFile, maintaining confidentiality and data integrity. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies or incomplete submissions in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all applicable background screening regulations, agency policies, and contractual obligations. Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive personal information in accordance with data protection standards and departmental guidelines. Perform other related administrative and compliance duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the screening process.
