Job description

Who We Are:

SiriusXM and its brands (Pandora, SiriusXM Media, AdsWizz, Simplecast, and SiriusXM Connect) are leading a new era of audio entertainment and services by delivering the most compelling subscription and ad-supported audio entertainment experience for listeners -- in the car, at home, and anywhere on the go with connected devices. Our vision is to shape the future of audio, where everyone can be effortlessly connected to the voices, stories and music they love wherever they are. This is the place where a diverse group of emerging talent and legends alike come to share authentic and purposeful songs, stories, sounds and insights through some of the best programming and technology in the world. Our critically-acclaimed, industry-leading audio entertainment encompasses music, sports, comedy, news, talk, live events, and podcasting. No matter their individual role, each of our employees plays a vital role in bringing SiriusXM’s vision to life everyday.

SiriusXM is the leading audio entertainment company in North America, and the premier programmer and platform for subscription and digital advertising-supported audio products. SiriusXM’s platforms collectively reach approximately 150 million listeners, the largest digital audio audience across paid and free tiers in North America, and deliver music, sports, talk, news, comedy, entertainment and podcasts. Pandora, a subsidiary of SiriusXM, is the largest ad-supported audio entertainment streaming service in the U.S. SiriusXM's subsidiaries Stitcher, Simplecast and AdsWizz make it a leader in podcast hosting, production, distribution, analytics and monetization. The Company’s advertising sales organization, which operates as SiriusXM Media, leverages its scale, cross-platform sales organization and ad tech capabilities to deliver results for audio creators and advertisers. SiriusXM, through Sirius XM Canada Holdings, Inc., also offers satellite radio and audio entertainment in Canada. In addition to its audio entertainment businesses, SiriusXM offers connected vehicle services to automakers.

How you’ll make an impact:

As a Technical Program Manager on the Planning & Portfolio Team, you will support and execute cross-functional planning and program operations initiatives that help Technology and Product teams deliver on their roadmaps. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Program Operations peers to drive structured planning, track execution, and surface risks and dependencies.

This role is focused on program execution, operational rigor, and coordination, helping teams move from discovery to delivery while improving the consistency and effectiveness of portfolio processes across the organization. The Planning & Portfolio team partners with Technology, Product, and business stakeholders to support prioritization, roadmap execution, and operational processes that enable teams at SiriusXM and Pandora to work more effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for structure and operational rigor — but loves working in an entrepreneurial environment and has a proactive approach to creating impact in a fast-paced setting.

What you’ll do

● Support ownership of delivery, sequencing, and risk within the Technology and Product roadmap planning process by helping teams prepare, validate, and align planning inputs and assumptions

● Partner with Product, Engineering, and Program Operations to help coordinate initiative sequencing, identify dependencies, and surface planning risks that could impact predictable execution

● Contribute to execution clarity by helping operationalize planning processes that improve visibility into demand, capacity, timelines, and progress

● Support operating rhythm for planning by coordinating and facilitating planning sessions, reviews, and checkpoints in partnership with Portfolio Managers

● Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and tooling teams (e.g., Jira / Atlassian) to help ensure planning data, time tracking, and reporting are accurate and support delivery predictability

● Identify and surface risks, gaps, or inefficiencies in planning inputs or processes, and propose pragmatic improvements

● Track and communicate planning status and readiness, escalating risks and cross-team dependencies as needed to support predictable execution

● Contribute to narrative and artifacts (plans, documentation, dashboards, status updates) that help leadership and teams understand priorities, trade-offs, and execution implications

● Collaborate across teams to reinforce shared accountability, clarity, and alignment throughout the planning lifecycle

What you’ll need:

● 3+ years of experience in technical program management, program operations, product operations, or a related role

● Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams in a delivery-focused environment

● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or programs simultaneously with attention to detail

● Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear updates

● Comfort operating in evolving or partially defined environments, with a bias toward action and follow-through

● Experience using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence

● Ability to analyze data, track metrics, and identify trends related to execution and delivery

● Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions

● Interest in improving processes and operational effectiveness over time

● Familiarity with portfolio planning, prioritization, or capacity tracking is a plus

● Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as chatGPT, Gemini, etc.

● Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $118,00 to $140,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.

Our goal at SiriusXM is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation. SiriusXM is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, alienage or citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, gender identity, marital status, familial status, veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws.

The requirements and duties described above may be modified or waived by the Company in its sole discretion without notice.
