PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

The Marketing Associate works in conjunction with the ADO Marketing Manager to grow independent eye care practices in a defined territory. The Marketing Associate s job involves managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects. This position is responsible for facilitating the creation of marketing collateral, promoting and executing marketing plans, developing brand cohesion for the practices you work with and increasing revenue in all business channels. Responsibilities will include tracking and reporting results of all marketing initiatives and recommending improvements as necessary to increase the overall success of marketing efforts.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE OR SKILL SET:

• BA or BS Degree in Marketing and a minimum of three years of related marketing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organization and project/campaign management skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills ensuring all stakeholders are on the same page with respect to project status, deliverables & timelines. Experience defining and managing project scope and deliverables while using both onsite and offsite resources.
• This position also requires creativity, flexibility, time management skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in utilizing CRM systems, data analysis and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in Adobe design programs preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
• Occasional travel (25%) to industry events and ADO events.
• Occasional weekend travel required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license and insurable driving record that complies with the Walman Optical Company Motor Vehicle Policy.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Oversee full scope of assigned member accounts and is responsible for member satisfaction and execution of marketing program deliverables.
• Assist in the development of yearly strategic marketing plans for each member.
• Measure, track and report results and adjust programs to continually improve performance.
• Optimize member lead generation and lead nurturing process through email, content and social media programs.
• Manage relationships and coordinate marketing activities with customers, internal team members and external partners.
• Ensure all program elements are in alignment with client strategy and brand guidelines.
• Take ownership of project execution and performance for all assigned customers.
• Partner with team members across organization to produce campaigns on time and on budget with flawless execution that meet/exceed client expectations.
• Work with ADO Marketing Manager to develop detailed marketing plans, schedules and track costs & billing.
• Become a trusted resource for your clients as well as for internal teams. Effectively leverage and prove value for the ADO Marketing program while solving client challenges and driving growth for their business.
• Actively participate in and/or conduct member calls to implement marketing initiatives.
• Obtain and analyze the response data for all marketing efforts to determine return-on-investment.
• Develop and formulate marketing materials and strategies; internal collateral, direct mail, print advertising, broadcast media, online display ad campaigns, social media, SEM/SEO, internal/external referral promotions, member communications and event coordination, etc.
• Develop public relations, community outreach efforts for member practices on a market specific basis.
• Closely collaborate with creative teams to produce new marketing materials and/or adapt and customize existing marketing collateral.
• Coordinate new website development and/or modification with Web & Media team.
• Effectively communicate through proofing process as intermediary between vendor and customer, and follow project from inception through completion.
• Create, proof, edit and/or re-purpose content for use across a variety of media.
• Utilize CRM and data warehouse tools to accurately and completely create and monitor performance metrics, both periodic and real-time. Provide these metrics to the division leadership team.
• Model a professional and ethical behavior and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintains work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
• Understands and follows all company and manufacturer s policies and procedures and assures compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and HIPAA protected information.
• Willingly assists others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain even work load.
• Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude.
• Performs an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required.
• Provides proper training, work direction, anPhd technical guidance for less experienced employees.
• Attends in-house or Walman sponsored training meetings when necessary.
