Main Requirements:
Have in-depth understanding of state and federal tax codes
File timely and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
Collaborate with advisors to design and implement tax strategies
Educate clients on filing requirements, deductions, and liabilities
Ensure compliance with current tax legislation
Experience using tax software
Keep current on tax code updates and clearly communicate changes
Commitment to a long-term role and ownership of tax-related processes
Coordinate with outside CPAs or attorneys when necessary
Help enhance internal tax workflows and documentation
Provide support to clients during IRS audits or tax reviews
