Assist and teach clients day to day routines and basic living skills such as defined in care plans. Maintain household including meal planning and preparation. Serve as a positive liaison to schools, parents, and others who have a relationship to clients. Provide transportation for program/client activities. Assist in academic needs and participate in and plan recreation as appropriate. This is a residential program working with children ages 7-14 with mental health diagnoses. Qualifications Must be 21 year's old and have a valid NYS driver's license with 4 points or less. High School Diploma or GED required; Associates in Human Services preferred. Experience working with at risk children or teenagers, children or teenagers with mental health diagnosis or in another human service area or in a health care field OR Associates degree in Human Services or related field Required.
