Position Summary
Able to provide assistance to the Director of Case Management in the department, but not limited to, hiring/training/managing staff, schedule coordination, analysis and reporting, interfacing, collaborating and working with the other departments. Closely conduct and coordinate Case Management and Utilization Review Plan and related compliance policies and regulatory standards. Accountable for compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, TJC accreditation standards and Tenet policy. Coordinate Case Management and Social Services staffing, serve as a clinical leader, conduct performance and competency evaluation and maintain staffing records. Facilitate educational programs for Case Management Department on community resources use in discharge planning that encourages professional growth. Supervise and conduct the day-to-day activities of Case Managers, and Social Workers and Discharge Planners.
