AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a part-time Sr. Acquisition Management Of Advance Research And Development Analyst to provide direct acquisition and contracting support to our government customer's Algorithm & Advanced Development Lead at Joint Base Anacostia-Bollng (JBAB), Washington DC. This role focuses on hands-on program execution and requires strong experience in DoD acquisition documentation, cost analysis, contracting actions, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with government stakeholders, subject matter experts, and contracting personnel to ensure acquisition actions are properly developed, tracked, and executed in support of program objectives.
As a part-time Sr. Acquisition Management Of Advance Research And Development Analyst with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will:
Candidates must possess an active TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or Doctoral degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience supporting a DoD organization, preferably in program acquisition, cost analysis, Engineering and/or contracting. Demonstrated working knowledge of DoD Directive 5000 series policies and Program Office acquisition responsibilities, including required documentation and milestone timelines.
NOTE: This position is part-time and compensated hourly, (typically 2032 hours per week), with a targeted rate range of $90.00 to $96.00 per hour.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
