Electrical Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for :

• Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary sustaining engineering team.
• Developing and designing electrical systems, either as improvements to existing designs or as part of new product development.
• Ensuring electrical component and system designs have appropriate analytical verification, production level validation, and field-testing.
• Create electrical schematics, layout drawings, etc. using o Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley RSlogix / Studio 5000 and AutoCAD Electrical for use in customer proposals and manufacturing.
• Working with other engineers, technicians and designers in a team environment to foster a creative workplace, allowing for new ideas while embracing speed and excellence.
• Documenting work products in written form, e.g. technical notes, bills of materials, design specifications
• Maintaining Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS) for the business
• Strong Robotics experience

To be successful in this role you will :

• Have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of Electrical Engineering work experience with controls
• Have experience with analog circuit design
• Have experience with digital signal processing circuit design
• Have experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, or other electrical CAD package
• Have excellent problem-solving and communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Have excellent judgment and decision-making ability
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI, SCADA components
• RS Logix
• Time and motion studies experience
