Job Description We are seeking an Operations Specialist to provide essential operational support to the US Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination across scientific teams, global sites, and external partners. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational support within the US DMPK Department. Collaborate with on-site scientific teams, European colleagues, and external suppliers such as CROs to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests. Includes: processing of requests , study planning, result integration, and resolving issues Support the implementation of tools and processes that enhance team communication and operational efficiency. Track training assignments and ensure compliance with internal requirements. Execute a variety of operational tasks, including: Shipping and receiving of samples Setting up purchase orders, managing purchasing and invoicing, tracking spend, and assisting with budget documentation Ensuring timely receipt and review of data and input into digital platforms Drafting memos and non-scientific communications Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience in operations support within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industries Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience managing projects in a global matrix/team environment Ability to identify operational issues, assess risks, and contribute to resolution and mitigation strategies Skilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and best practices Quick to learn new systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement Comfortable working under tight timelines and in evolving organizational environments Foundational knowledge of data structures Additional Information What to Expect in the Hiring Process: 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with Region Recruiter 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader 60 Minute Onsite Meeting with the Team Additional Details: This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with overtime required as needed.
